Yui graduated from the Graduate School of Advanced Integration Science, Chiba University, during which an exchange program to Germany piqued his interest in working internationally. Yui started his career in Sales Engineering for high-performance materials at a Japanese chemical materials manufacturer, before joining an Austrian refractory metal manufacturer as an Engineer and Project Manager. During his time with these two companies, Yui came to believe the most important factors for organizations and people to achieve better results are to support the development of each individual’s capabilities and improve collaboration within the organization. Hence, he began to work as a consultant, trainer and coach in Japan to impart his expertise on business skills and communication. Yui joined beyond global with the intention of creating a future where organizations and individuals alike collaborate seamlessly across national boundaries. Currently, Yui’s main focus is on supporting the globalization of Japanese companies.
