Royston graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in management with a minor in advanced Japanese studies. During his university years, he did various exchange programs at Boston College, Ritsumeikan, and Rikkyo University, allowing him a broad understanding of various cultures. Prior to joining beyond, Royston was a regional client analyst within the logistics industry in charge of multiple geographies, handling operations and IT systems project management. While handing system rollouts, Royston observed that mindset change and people development were often the biggest obstacles that prevent successful solutions from being sustainable. Having experienced the importance of change management and people development, Royston seeks to promote a positive developmental mindset within the partner organizations’ employees for them to be the organization’s competitive advantage.
