Jesslyn graduated from NTU with a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honors. She held the NTU College Scholarship and was awarded with the Dean’s List for being the top 5% of the cohort. During her 4 year undergraduate studies, she picked up Japanese Language in NTU (Level 1 to 4), and have achieved distinctions for all the levels. Being interested in the Japanese culture, she took part in a Language Immersion Exchange Program at Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto. She has always been interested in the area of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Employee Engagement, Cultural Differences, and Positivity in Workplace. For her Final Year Project in NTU, she integrated concepts from Personality, Workplace, and Cultural Psychology to provide suggestions for organizations to take in order to improve employee’s engagement and productivity. After graduation, she worked with a Japanese Electronics Company and was in-charge of processing employment passes, payroll calculation, and income-tax calculation for the Japanese. She also conducted orientation and repatriation procedures for the Japanese expatriates. After which, she joined a Local SME IT Company where she introduced new HR Systems, initiated policies, and improvised the performance appraisal procedure and the HR Filing System of the company. Currently at beyond global, she supports the HR System redesign and implementations.
